I called Lowe's Thursday morning and was told that our new storm door had come in from its American-made manufacturer. Yep, made in America! I picked it up and Thursday afternoon began the installation. Step one: remove the old storm door. I moved it from the back entrance of the house to the back entrance of the garage. Nothing is ever easy. It took the rest of the day to complete that move.

On Friday I started and completed the installation of the new door. Both days were 90/90 days; temp and humidity in the 90s. I went through 5 shirts, but, with a little help from the photographer, I completed the job yesterday evening. Nancy was amazed by the entire process. Not that I actually managed to hang the door, but that I followed the printed instructions! They're hanging on the window next to the door. And, once again, hurrah for portable drill motors and power screwdrivers.
