On Sunday, September 5, Nancy and I attended the Greater Gallitzin Joint High School Homecoming Dinner/Dance at the Oriental Ballroom in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania. It was the 49th year reunion for Nancy's class, and thirteen members of her class were able to attend this year. Of course, next year is the big one. The class of '61 will be highlighted during the homecoming celebration. This year we were able to pull 12 of her 13 classmates into one place for a picture. Left to right sitting are: Rose, Jeanne,Sandy, and Ginger. And in the back row left to right are: Denny, Bonnie, Deanna, Lorna, Pauline, Carol, Dorothy, and Nancy. Sandy and Bonnie are actually honorary classmates who graduated elsewhere but celebrate with our class since we all spent our teenage years together. Now this group and our other classmates must start planning for next year and the big 50.

This past Thursday was our 43rd wedding anniversary. We celebrated with dinner and a movie. We commended ourselves this year for remembering our anniversary. A couple of years ago, we forgot all about it until Nancy's Mom brought it up in a conversation.
