Yes, we celebrated the 68th anniversary of my birth yesterday. Nancy baked a cake, and the Birmingham bunch joined us for the lighting of the candles. The candles were placed on the cake in two groups; one with 6 candles and a second group with eight candles. Doing that insured that no Huntsville fire ordnances were violated. In case you haven't met the people in the picture, allow me to introduce them. Standing are Jenny and our son Mark. Their kids, our grandkids, are John Michael (4), Margaret (1), and Jackson (7). And me, but we already discussed my age. Nancy was unable to both take and be in the picture, so if you look hard, you'll see her on the other side of the camera.

I devoted my web page last week to Margaret's first birthday, and completely forgot to mention that Jenny's birthday was on the 4th. Shame on me. So from us to her, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. She's a pretty neat daughter-in-law.
