Last Sunday Nancy, Savannah, and I drove to Birmingham for a short visit with our son's family. It took a while, but once Jackson realized he and Savannah could have fun playing air-hockey and other games, the noise level in Mark's home rose considerably. After that the cousins got along very well. Just before we returned to Huntsville on Wednesday, Nancy sat the kids down, and I took this picture. Along with Savannah (almost 14) and Jackson (nearly 8) are John Michael (5) and Margaret (16 months).

Just for the record, yesterday Nancy and I picked (and ate) the first blueberries of the season. From the looks of the crop on our two biggest plants, we'll have enough for several blueberry pies real soon.
