Still In Pennsylvania...

...and it's still snowing. In fact, it has snowed every day, all day, for the last five days.

Nancy and I spent Christmas season with many members of Nancy's family in and around Gallitzin and Cresson, Pennsylvania. It's been several years since we returned home for the winter holidays. I always say that we have to do this once in a while to remind us of exactly why we live in the South. But we sure didn't expect to see this much snow. The temperature was 17 degrees when the picture above was taken with about 12 to 18 inches of snow in the yard. The streets are plowed and salted every morning and are mostly passable after that. But I have to commend our Chrysler van. It's a real snow vehicle.

And we have to be on the streets because we are moving Nancy's 91-year-old Mother out of her apartment. She is moving in with Nancy's Aunt Nina since Nancy's Mom needs some help with her day-to-day activities. We are planning to be back in Alabama next week. We wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year.
