Jackson's Birthday Party

This morning Nancy and I drove to Birmingham to help our grandson Jackson celebrate his eighth birthday. Eight of Jackson's friends plus brother John Michael met at Game Zone for an after-noon of games, laser tag, and goodies. Mark supplied the tokens for the games, and in a very short period of time, the boys turned every one of them in tickets. Tickets are the rewards for playing the games well. At the end of the afternoon each boy turned in his tickets for a toy or two worth about a half-cent each.

The cake and ice-cream were good. I put an inset of the cake into the picture above for everyone to appreciate.

Nancy stayed home with Margaret. As we were leaving the house, they came to the door to say goodbye.
