Homecoming and a Birthday

Nancy spent the last 3 weeks in Pennsylvania helping her Mother who was in the hospital for several days during the last week of August. I returned to PA last Saturday in time to attend Gallitzin High School's annual homecoming with Nancy. Dinner and dancing were the order of the evening. Eight of Nancy's classmates made the evening a mini-reunion. In the first picture above, from left to right, are classmates Nancy, Jeannie, Louise, Carol, Pauline, Bonnie, Dorothy, Rose Marie, and Deanna.

Two days later, on September 8th, we celebrated Nancy's Mom's 91st birthday. She looks very well but was in the hospital with pain issues. Her doctors have worked to keep her pain controlled, and she is back at her apartment with visits from home health nurses. We feel very blessed to have been with her for another birthday.
