Last Sunday found Nancy and me in a quaint hillside village about a half-day drive out of Jerusalem. Nancy didn't want to climb the steps, but I wanted to check out the view from the third floor of the old castle-like building. So, can you find us?

Did you say, "Yeah, right"? Actually we drove to Cullman, Alabama, for a quick visit to the Ave Maria Grotto. I'm going to leave it to the above link to explain exactly what the grotto is. I just couldn't resist "photoshopping" us into one of the pictures we took.

A couple of months ago, Bill L., who used to work with me at TBE, nominated me to become a Tennessee Squire. This award is given to honor special friends of the Jack Daniel Distillery and their world-famous Tennessee Whiskey. As a result, I have become an "owner" of an unrecorded plot of land at the Distillery and an honorary citizen of Moore County, TN. I couldn't be happier. So, who said retiring wasn't fun.
