It was one of those weeks where we spent most of our time working in and around the house and not taking any pictures. So last night I sent an urgent message to Melissa and Mark requesting inputs for my web page. I got a good response starting with Savannah's Summer Calendar, which she put together last night and sent to me before going to bed. Savannah is going to become a teenager on July 25th.

Ian is our football playing grandson. Melissa forwarded a photo of Ian from his last football game.  His team (The Gilbert Titans) was undefeated this season - Ian started at center on offense and played in the line or linebacker on defense.  This was his 12th season of Football. Can you believe that? They have more than one "season" in each year.  He had numerous sacks and tackles this year, and one awesome interception, which he ran back for a touchdown.  He starts "summer conditioning" in July.

Mark went fishing for the first time in his life a couple of weeks ago. He discovered that Guntersville Lake (about 40 miles from Huntsville and Birmingham) is one of the great bass fishing sites in the world. He's thinking he just might like fishing after all and is planning to introduce it to his boys when they go to the shore in July.
