On Thursday I enjoyed a steak lunch with Jerry and John, renewed an old acquaintance by telephone, attended a guitar recital by Manuel Barrueco, and celebrated my 67th birthday. For the purist among you, the one candle is 67 millimeters tall. However, not for long!

Nancy is in Birmingham helping Mark and Jenny with all the happenings around the birth of our new grandchild. A couple of days ago, it was reported that Meg had already increased her weight by 25%.
