Saturday morning at 4:30 our friend Myra drove us to the airport where we began our flight to Mesa, Arizona. Shortly before 10:00 AM Arizona time, Melissa picked us up at Sky Harbor Airport and drove us to her home. That less than 6-hour flight was much better than our usual 25-hour, 3-day automobile drive.

So we arrived in Mesa on Independence Day, which is also our daughter Melissa's birthday. We spent the day with Melissa and Treacey and our grandchildren Savannah and Ian. I didn't even think "picture" let alone the "web site" during that first day. I realized on Sunday morning that I had forgotten to post this week's picture. So I sat Melissa down with her dog Wanda and took the picture you see above. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Melissa.
