After a week of relatively cold weather in Orlando, Florida, we finally made it to Universal Studios last Tuesday. With Nancy's sister Elaine and her husband Karl, we managed to hit many of the attractions in that one day of walking around in nearly perfect weather. We did Twister, Disaster, E.T. Adventure, and Shrek 4-D among others, but the highlight of my day was the Revenge of the Mummy. Why? I don't like roller coasters. I expected this ride to be more like "It's a Small World" in Disneyland. It wasn't. Luckily, it twisted around in a darkened interior and lasted less than a minute, and I managed not to lose my lunch. A fun day, none the less.

On Thursday we drove back to Huntsville (645 miles) for a much needed rest. I almost forgot! HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to everyone.
