On Monday Nancy and I drove to Sevierville, Tennessee, planning to spend the week in the Smoky Mountains with Nancy's sister Elaine and her husband Karl. On Tuesday, during the day, we shopped and enjoyed a late dinner at the Apple Barn. Wednesday morning we attended the Blackwood Breakfast Variety Show where the picture above was taken.

On Thursday we found out that Nancy's Mom, who had been in the hospital for several days, was finally on her way home. So, yesterday, Nancy and I cut short our stay in the mountains and took off for Pennsylvania. When I woke up this morning, Mother Nature had a little surprise for us. I took the above picture early this morning. It's mid-afternoon right now, and it's still snowing. Our new Prius, however, seems to be holding its own on the local streets and highways.
