Melissa, Treacey, Savannah (9), and Ian (7), in shades of red above, flew from Arizona into Birmingham on Christmas Day for a 6-day visit. We met them at he airport and drove to Mark and Jenny's home in Birmingham for a Christmas dinner with the whole family. That evening we returned to Huntsville with Melissa et al where everyone hit the bed early after an exhausting day.

Mark, Jenny, Jackson (3), and John Michael (8 months), in shades of green, joined us on the 26th for a second Christmas dinner at our home. Ever vigilant for such opportunities, Nancy arranged a trip to the portrait studio for a family picture. And, of course, the result is shown above. Santa was generous to all, and we enjoyed having a houseful one more time.

I know that this picture is posted a little early, but I thought it was worth a little more time than just one week. We sat for several different pictures, so I just might post another next Saturday (Jan 7).
